Making a difference through work is not just focusing on the client, but the employees who make it happen. As part of the Monthly Employee engagement events, the idea was to have a themed event each month and create interactive and engaging experiences for employees.
The idea was to take the Freddie Mac branding, but really showcase exciting pops and color from the palette, in presenting excitement and spotlight engagement.
Annually, employees have the opportunity to showcase their side businesses and channel their inner artists, during the Craft Fair and Farmer’s Market. Artists are able to reserve a table and sell their home made art and food. The idea was to kick it up a notch and spotlight artists in a personal way and their work ahead of time, so that colleagues could share their businesses and also spread the word. I created/designed/built an artist page, which displayed all of the participating artists, as well as a link to their shop, and photos of their work. This was very successful and gave us very high engagement, leading up to the vent. Over 1000 employees showed up to the fair. The views amassed over 2000 clicks to the page. There was also pull up banners and signage where people could walk into the event and scan with their phone so they could view it that way as they navigated the fair, and also get insight ahead of time on each artist.
The event was so successful that some artists sold out of their inventory and had to shut down their etsy shop temporarily!
The event support included, save the dates, artist page, pull up banners, and a slide show played during the event showcasing each artist. Illustrations were handdrawn by me.
